Vice Principal's Message

Education is considered to be the core instrument of human development and its aim is to promote excellence in all spheres of life of the children. Our objective at DPS-STS is the harmonious development of the intellectual, physical, social, moral & spiritual faculties of the children by introducing, guiding, leading and confronting them with challenges and responsibilities from an early age. At the heart of the School is a core of shared values, which reflect our ethos, and which permeates everything we do. These values foster high standards of behavior and achievement, support a framework of respect, promote self-confidence and provide a warm, harmonious environment in which our children learn and thrive. Central to our School ethos will be the spirit of 'having a go' whether it be doing one’s best in academic work, performing on stage, scaling the climbing wall, or taking part in expeditions at home, or abroad.

We shall spare no efforts to make the educational experience of our students meaningful and relevant to the socio-economic needs of the times & to equip our youthful charges to face the challenges of the future for leading the society from the front, while ensuring that at the same time they are enjoying their experience of learning.

Madhu Wal (Vice Principal) Post Graduate in English Literature, from Miranda House, Delhi University, she started her teaching career at DPS East of Kailash, New Delhi. She has been a former head of English Faculty at famous schools like Mayo College Ajmer & Lawrence School Lovedale, where she was also Head .of curriculum & In-charge of Boarding Houses. She is widely travelled having visited schools all over the globe to study the educational systems & has authored several workbooks related to English Literature & Language. She is also the Educational Advisor to Padma Education Society that runs Delhi Public School - Gandhidham (India), a school which was set up under her guidance.
